exploit-proven security research

We find the vulnerabilities your code review misses.

BugLedger hunts real, exploitable bugs in production software — then proves every one end-to-end before we tell you. No theoretical findings, no scanner noise. Just reproduced exploits and a fix.

what we do

Security research that ends in a working exploit — not a maybe.

We review code the way an attacker does: looking for the one guard that wasn't applied everywhere, the fix that missed a sibling path, the trust boundary that leaks. Then we build the proof-of-concept in an isolated sandbox so you see the impact, not a guess.

// depth at scale

Attacker-grade code review

We read the real code paths across your whole surface — auth, multi-tenant isolation, sandboxes, file handling, SSRF-prone fetchers, agent/tool execution — not just what a linter flags.

// proof, not theory

Every finding is reproduced

Nothing ships as a finding until it's demonstrated end-to-end against the real code, with a control that isolates the bug. If we can't prove it, we don't claim it.

// incomplete-fix lineage

Sibling & incomplete-fix analysis

Our highest-yield method: take a shipped security fix and find where the same class survives — the dialect, transport, endpoint, or sibling handler the patch never touched.

// responsible by default

Coordinated disclosure

We report privately to maintainers, credit on their terms, and hold technical detail for a 90-day embargo. Your findings stay yours; nothing is published without coordination.

the ledger

A running record of what we've found.

Recent validated findings. Targets and technical detail are withheld under coordinated disclosure — each row unlocks as its embargo lifts.

⏳ Under coordinated disclosure. Vendor, repository, and exploit details are intentionally withheld while each 90-day embargo runs. Credited advisories and full write-ups are published here as each counter reaches zero.

How we rate what we find.

Every finding is scored by real-world impact and how easily an attacker reaches it, aligned to CVSS v3.1. We rate honestly — a bug only earns a tier it can actually prove, and we state the precondition every time.

CriticalCVSS 9.0–10.0

Remotely exploitable with no authentication and little to no user interaction, leading to full compromise — remote code execution, authentication bypass to admin, or mass exposure of sensitive data.

HighCVSS 7.0–8.9

Serious impact behind a single realistic precondition — limited privilege, user interaction, or a default-plausible configuration. Privilege escalation, sandbox or tenant-isolation escape, significant data exposure.

MediumCVSS 4.0–6.9

Real but bounded or conditional impact — cross-tenant leakage of limited data, denial of service, or a bypass that needs a non-default setup or a chained precondition to land.

LowCVSS 0.1–3.9

Limited or defense-in-depth impact — hardening gaps, low-sensitivity information disclosure, or issues requiring unlikely preconditions. Reported for completeness, not alarm.

how an engagement works

From codebase to proven exploit in days.

Scope

You point us at a repo, service, or release. We agree on the surface and the rules of engagement.

Hunt

Deep review of the real trust boundaries, driven by incomplete-fix and sibling-path analysis across every handler.

Prove

We reproduce each candidate end-to-end in an isolated sandbox, with a control that isolates the bug from noise.

Report

You get an owner-ready write-up: exact location, reproduction, impact, severity, and a concrete fix.
